Batterybox won Innovation prize 2023. Here is the jury’s justification
We are proud to have won The Norwegian Fire Protection Association ́s Innovation Award 2023 with our product Batterybox. Read the jury’s reasoning for giving us the price our Batterybox.
Our Batterybox won the Innovation prize 2023!
The Norwegian Fire Protection Association, as part of their 100th Anniversary, set up an innovation price to stimulate new thinking to prevent fires.
NRK: A new fire in a waste facility every week: – This is not sustainable
The waste industry believes that the government must take action against batteries ending up in the trash and starting fires.
– Batteries are a fire hazard at home in people’s kitchens too.
Successful testing
We are getting closer and closer to the final design of the Batterybox. The Batterybox is really put through some serious tests in a flammable kitchen environment.
Patent application filed for the Batterybox
Finally the Batterybox is patent pending and we can start to talk freely about it. Through our patent partner Bryn Aarflot we got valuable help and advice.
Application sent to the innovation price
To celebrate their 100th anniversary, the Norwegian Fire Protection Association has set up an innovation price to stimulate new thinking to prevent fire. Of course we believe in our product so much that we had to enter.
