Whtif and the Batterybox were proud to provide profiled Batteryboxes as participant gifts for everyone attending Brann & Redning 2025

Patentstyret (The Norwegian Industrial Property Office) has written an article all about the Batterybox. From the inception of the idea, through the patent application to the Batterybox winning the Norwegian Fire Protection Association’s price for innovation in 2023 and ultimately coming in production and being made available.

We are excited to show off Batterybox at BBL Pivotal’s Total Insurance Conference.

Misplaced batteries can short circuit, be damaged and cause fires in your home and at the return points. Almost 85% of fires in the recycling industry are caused by misplaced batteries.

On the 3rd of April the first shipment of Batteryboxes finally arrived at our warehouse. And some of us were more excited than others 😉

As a producer of source separation solutions, Whtif AS is proud to be a member of Sortere – Norway’s national platform for waste sorting, operated by LOOP – the Foundation for Source Separation and Recycling.

Final quality check completed at our sticker supplier today! Each sticker features a small circle, making it easier to position correctly on the terminal — and ensuring that even those over 50 (without glasses) can see them clearly!

Finally, the container is loaded at the factory with 8448 pcs. of Batteryboxes and is now on its way to Oslo. Both designs, white/green and black/green, to cater for different wishes.

Finally the pre-production run of the Batteryboxes has arrived by air, and we are very excited!
